Every year our church celebrates the graduation of it’s Pre-Servants Class on the eve of the Feast of the Coptic New Year. It was a special surprise this year to have some of the oldies of the class graduate. David Fam, George Bebawy, and Daniel Bishara (who couldn’t make the ceremony) graduated this year after some 4-5 years in the program. The program is 2 years long. I’m so happy to blog about the engagement of two of my very close friends, Peter Endrawis & Monica Wassef. They were engaged on Sunday, September 14, 2008. There was great joy in the church as two of its servants took a step towards marriage. They grew up together all their lives in the church. They both became servants who excelled in their duties and responsibilities. They taught Sunday School and Bible Study classes together during the 2007-2008 year and this is how Peter’s eyes were opened. I
